Ha yeah im still very gratefull for that Blair, even though we hadnt met before, but then again thats what the Datsun community is all about.

Got some good news and some bad news Ill start with the bad news.
I noticed sometime ago that paint was bubbling on two of my doors, i never got round to wire brushing it off so today i thought why not see what the damage is. To my dispair rust holes, my once thought rust free 180B was all a sham! But no worry should be an easy fix, ill prob get one of the local boys to fizz it up for me I also thought how well my front valance would fit up with the intercooler mounted up, its pretty perfect just need a little grinding to make it sit properly. Also put my tailights in forgot how awesome they look on the car. I will post pics once photobucket stops being queer. I tried attach them on here but says i can only attach one photo??? Ah well.

Just keep attaching them one at a time.

And as far as datsuns go, that rust is something to be happy about I'd say! Gawd, it could be ten million times worse

Lol yeah i know, im so stoked about intercooler . Just need to get onto piping now.

Iv decided to go the R200 longnose VLSD route now, as my orignal plan ws going to be too costly. Lets face it an R160 VLSD would probably not last as long behind a 300hp CA18DET!!!!!

Shock horror, i worked on my car today! I remounted the intercooler as i wasnt happy where it was, i moved it forward probably about 20-30mm, now the valance bolts up mint with no mods at all!!! I still need to hack more out of the grill but other than that im very happy, what a difference measuring properly makes rather than "yeah that looks alright" lol. Oh also took my doors off that have the rust holes so they can fizzed up soon i hope! Cheers.
