What oil to use when running engine in

Getting closer to firing up the new engine in 1600. What is the best grade and type of oil to run a L18 in that has had a full re build

just use some 20 w 40 valvoline oil it is very underated oil . a survey i remember a couple years back was better than magnatec

Funny you say that shane cause a really good engine builder over in Wanganui tells all his customers to use the same oil and it is the best for race engines
