getting them out is easy!
we did it on my missus's 140J.......just use an old bike brake cable e.t.c. to cut it with.
probably best to get a galzier to put it back in tho

I have thought about trying to do it myself. How did you manage to take it out and hold it up without breaking? I really really dont want to break it!

The process for taking out windscreens held in place by goo is as follows.
Push the bike brake cable through the goo.
once you get the cable through the rubbery goo, the rest is simple (but not easy).
by not easy, I mean that its tough work pulling the cable back and forward through the goo (we had 2 people, 1 inside and one out). wear gloves, or wrap your hands with a rag so it doesnt cut you.
you dont have to push on the windscreen at all while you are running the cable through.....once you have been all the way around, you just carefully gently push it out slowly, and presto.
If your windscreen is held in by a "windscreen rubber" like 510's (1600's), then Im not sure how you do these exactly, but dont poke a brake cable through them or you'll have to buy a new rubber.
I think those type of windscreens kind of "pop" out with a bit of persuasion, but Im not sure.
I think the S110 is probably of the goo type

Awesome thanks heaps, how did you initially pop the cable through? Fishing line may be easier? I'll have a look to see what kind of seal it is.

You could try fishing line.....would make the cut easier i guess. Would need to be pretty tough line tho.
I think we just pushed it through slowly (bike cable is somewhat stiff)
Might have dug it out a little first, i can't remember it was over a year ago we did it lol

Just pusghed them straight out in my 510. Rubbers etc were intact too. They pop out without fishing line etc

I know of a couple, give me a text when you want them back in, I will talked to them, shouldn't be a problem for a cashy. David 0220251417
