Re: Motor gets a shiney new hat
Can you not add a few mm's of spacer to push the rotor further inwards, and space the caliper further back?
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Re: Motor gets a shiney new hat
My 120y was certed with 5mm slip ons on front and 12mm out rear - i think the rule now is they must be fixd - ie euro brake rotors have that flush fixing screw to hold the disk when you pull a wheel off - wouldnt be hard to do in your case.
Re: Motor gets a shiney new hat
Perfer not to have to resort to spacers if poss.
I think they are S4 calipers ill try one of the Rotor forums see if S5 - S6 is different

Need to drop the bum about 3inch but the rims and tyres easily clear the guards which i am so happy about.

Re: Starting to get serious
yeah me too. Will be an easy 400hp at the wheels I reckon. Just depends on how much adam wants to wind up the wick really!
I love this car, I like to think of it as mine and adams illegitimate love child. I think ive worked on this car nearly as much as mine. Its going to make me smile when this thing is tearing round the streets (because it will be running before mine by quiet a bit!)
