A15 Alternater

A mate with a 1200 blew his Alternater, he's running an A15 not sure if others will fit, but im sure someone on here will be able to tell me

Hey Mate, I have a few spare alternators in my shed if you are still after one. I had an alteranator rebuilt and used it in my 1200 before using it on my A15 after fitting it. I just had to drill the holes a little bigger on the bracket.From what I can tell there isn't any difference. Please let me know if you are still after one and I can check any numbers etc with the ones I have. $40 including postage from Timaru to ChCh and its your.

i ordered a brand new hitachi alternator from throughl local auto electrician for $150 if that helps

Thats pretty good for brand new! But think he's on a really tight budget so second hand will have to do.
