Help getting diff from invers to chch please.

Hey all.
Im keen to buy a diff head for my Datsun thats in Invercargill.
Anyone from there thats heading to chch in the nearish future? Or someone doing a return trip or something? that wouldnt mind picking it up for me and bringing it to chch.
Happy to pay in beer or something.

How Urgent? What part of town? I could probably get it back by Labour weekend. What type of diff?

Awesome mate, Not urgent at all, im in avondale but happy to meet/ pick up from anywhere - are you coming for the labour weekend cruise? ill be there so could grab it then if you are.
Not sure yet where exactly in Invercargill the diff is so i could find out and if its out of your way then dont worry.
Its a long nose r200.

Not a prob, yes going to Akaroa, but in Mairehau, so probably easier to pick up when suits than lug it all the way out there.
Please ensure it is clean, won't leak and well packaged as carrying in family car.
I would prefer it was drained and clean as in a wagon and don't want stunk out!!! Horrible stink to get stuck in wifie's car!!!

Gear oil smells worse than,...........something that smells realy bad indeed.

Shit, I wasn't trying trying to discourage you from helping Nic out! I was just concuring that used gear oil is as horrible as it gets.

Sorry its takin ages to get back to you ive been trying to PM you but just noticed for some reason they are going to my outbox and not to sent messages so can only assume your not getting them, tryed PMing Bart also didnt work.
When will you be in invercargill? they guys address is corner of otapuni ave and inglewood road at jvs rod n resto ltd.
Is this anywhere near where you will be?
If it isnt or doesnt work out thats fine ill find an alternative way of getting it here.
