Thought this might be of interest to a few here, I know there's a few valiant fans lurking about the place...

That was a good watch. I want the FJ55 that's sitting outside his workshop.

Mate awesome wee doco man, are you working on others? I grew up in south canterbury and love the huge amount of motorsport history down that way. If you need a help with getting hold of people down that way give me a yell as my dad has been involved since back in the 70's (he will love this doco when i show him)

Heres a pic of my dads old VJ 770. We replaced the rusty bottom 6 inches, painted, striped and added decals + front spoiler so it didnt lift off the road. Was running warm, ported and cammed 265 with 390 Holley and extractors,4-speed Falcon box. Went HARD! Used to love going to Gore on saturday arvo for KFC and baiting all the commodore drivers we came across then hauling past and slotting into 4th beside their window!
Silly old coot sold it about 7 years back for 13k. He also had a brown VH about 8 years before I was born.
