can you use r31 diffs as a replacement for a datsun bluebird 910 inderpendant rear??
Not necessarily, if your 910 uses snap rings to retain the axles in the diff then Subaru diffs work ok, but the Subaru R160 VLSD I had didn't have any provision for the Datsun axle bolts. If you have a CV rear end you may have the snap ring type though - I know Steve's old 910SSS did. Make sure you don't get a Torsen diff either, they require a longer axle stub on one side to engage the LSD, without it you have a 1 wheel drive car.stickers wrote:a subaru legacy diff bolts striaght in i have a lsd in the rear bolt holes line up perfectly plus alxes and drive shaft go in sweet aswell
