i dont think anyone here has done that, but your best bet might be over on aussiebluebirds.com.
when you are doing it, take heaps of pics and show us how you get on with it. love the sound of your conversion, and i love bluebirds, so will watch with interest

yea heaps of pics will be coming cant wait to get it underway will strip motor out saturday and go from there

I've seen one in a 1600, should be kind of similar? Sounds like an awesome project.

Fast4motion has shoehorned a 20det into a wb310. Quite a bit of fabrication to make it fit though.

You need to get some small wide wheels and slam it to pull off the look you are going for, and paint that blue oil cooler! Has mad potential though mate.
