any suggestions on a good product to coat bare steel with for 2-4 months while i bare metal a shell before rust repairs?? its inside in a dry shed. I was just going to use etch primer but was just seeing if there's any better suggestions out there.

Get it sand blasted and epoxyed. I personally wouldn't bother trying to strip it yourself.

sorry, should clarify this is just for outside of doors/roof/rear quarters. Will be getting engine bay blasted and coated, but will just beaver away here and there on the rest of it myself.

We used to use a product called Kephos, wipe it on and leave. When time comes to prep and etch simply thinners rag it off
