I have just been contacted by someone searching for a full gasket kit for a 411, I know these cars came with the J13 but just to be sure did they also come with the old BMC-copy engine that was in the 410? He wasn't sure what engine it had in it, but either way, if someone could point me in the right direction for a gasket kit that would be handy as. cheers, dom.

Here you go this is the right direction,
http://www.nzgaskets.co.nz/SearchByVehi ... l=Bluebird" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Look in there work out what you need,
Then go down to Partmaster (tend to be cheapest) give them the number and pick your gasket set up the next day.

Pretty sure that site is wrong in listing the 411 as having an E1. As far as I am aware the E1 was only in the 410 and the 411 had the J13 (listed on that site as a Datsun 1300). Also the years they list for the 312,410 411 etc is wrong in that the 411 didn't come out until 1965 (they stop the years at 1964 which is when I think the 410 stopped production)

So I'd be looking at the Datsun 1300 kit if it is definitely a 411. There should be a big tag with the engine number rivited onto the passenger side inner wheel well to confirm.

If you have trouble locally, ebay has a few J15 kits on there now (which im told are the same as J13, I'd suggest confirming).

I paid $200 locally in Australia for my kit after I couldn't find one for a better price. Now there are a heap on ebay for $60 + shipping. :oops:
