just you wait. just you fucking wait.

broke RE-QUOTED this in my thread on the 21st of april 2012...........

"Just you wait Luke, you think the paint and panel is the hard part, but once it's all painted you'll be looking at all the rusty/dirty latches and bolts and brake master cylinder, suspension bits etc, guarantee you'll be wanting all that stuff mint before you bolt it back on!"

I really feel like there should be a "warning - read before datsun projecting" thread

thats like 3.5years ago.............

Thanks to Brendan I already have a brand spanking new shiny brake master cylinder and a few other new bits, yes the suspension will be getting rebuilt as will the engine and upholstery. I know it isn't going to be a quick process but I have 2 years to get 2 cars on the road for the big north island meet.

Luckily my brother is a mechanic and have told him his project for next year is to rebuild my A14 and one of my 5 speeds.

AND THIS GOOD GUY I KNOW CALLED LUKE IS GOING TO SELL ME A COUPE BOOT BADGE................(after all I have told him were to buy a mint coupe dash, lol)

I think if you have enough motivation and connections you should be able to complete this thing with all new/reco'ed stuff.

It's when you get hung up on having the rare, Jap market only stuff as well that you really get into trouble!

Been a while since I have updated this.

Haven't done a huge amount but have started working on my front suspension and brake set up (S13).

Bought my shock inserts and springs a couple of weeks ago.

Picked up my brake hard lines that go in the engine bay on Friday

Got cross member and sway bar painted.

I will try post some pics later in the week.

Here are a few pictures.

Now have all my solid brake lines done.

Struts will be ready to go back in by the end of the week hopefully with S13 brakes fitted
