Hi people,

I am at the point of selling my coupe as I cant find the time and to be honest not really
interested any more in the cars.
Not sure of sale price as yet but, hope to post something in the next month.
Also for Sale will be the Bedes old 1200 four door with or without motor.

Very tidy cars lots spent. Hard to find another coupe for sale in this condition.

Not going cheap.

The coupe has had 18g spent so far, and the orange four cost 15g to build.

My coupe well i'm the second owner no missing parts from factory at all.
No rust, mint inside, comes with original motor and a brand new A14 with
worked head that had 2g spent on it.
Two pieces 15's with new tyres, full adjustable front end with adjustables
Koni's etc. Ute diff dipped and recond head on new leafs, full nolethan
through out. Recond gear box stripped and baked in silver factory look.
also come with five front guards two bonnets, two mint coupe door, one boot lid
two sets of tail lights three grills, two sets of brand new pedals. and so much more.
Rego on hold with personal plates MY1200. heaps of spare badges list goes on.


Four door comes complete with as in pics plus full interior mint, car had brand new
everything thrown at it, full rebuild with top of the line paint and panel no rust anywhere.
Mint car 10g spent on panel and motor. Paid 2300 for a rusty rusty oh and bogged
four door that was really only worth 500 at the end of the day but the price is now days 2300
for a rusty car.

Not selling cheap cars are in super condition for a 40 year old cars.
I have pride in Datsuns and believe they a 5yrs behind the price of RX Mazdas
and those boys push them around everywhere.

15 yrs ago I paid $275 bucks for a coupe, now ya pay 6g for one that has rolled bold
and arse holed so in my eyes 15g are what they are worth in mint nic.

and you know I have a soft spot for your coupe....

These cars are both worth "real" money
They are extremely good examples with a lot of money and hard work done.
and no expense spared.

As always its just finding the right person with the money.

1200's are going up in value all the time, and very appreciating classics
and some idiots are spending huge amounts of time and money on them...

Its a buyers market. A mate just picked up a really nice 510 with some nice wee touches like tail lights. steering wheel and some odd wheels. 5k! Real awesome car.
I would say your sedan and coupe are amongest the best of ones ive ever seen. Just hope someone is willing to pay for them!

going by the 8k??? ( may be wrong) price that the coupe went for at the rolleston horder auction, and the condition of both these cars, teen prices would be a given, maybe e-bay would be the best place to auction ,as most on trade me (myself especially) seem to be hunting bargains. you wont see many people buying 150k mercs and porsches etc on trade me.
quality cars of this caliber are thin on the ground. If I win big wednesday id give you your money back on both. (off to buy a ticket )

Agree with you there , you never know whos sitting there looking for something like this and also there a alot of older dudes that want something done they can enjoy on the weekends/track like they did back in their days. They aint interested in spending there time fixing a car up.

Dont know if id compare them with rx2's, I mean I love my genuine 2 but you only have to count how many are for sale on trademe of each (both rx2's and 1200's) to know that you have something special here.

Trademe is all about the exposure, id throw them up there to see who's looking.
