I am looking for a stumpy 5 speed gearbox out of a skyline or pintara which had RB series engine..

I'm 99% sure there was never a factory short RB box, they are pretty easy to make with a short L series box and RB bellhousing though.

I have been told that it came on pintara's and some skylines
btw is the rb bellhousing bolton on the L g/box

I don't know much about Pintaras but if Wikipedia is anything to go by the R31 based ones were all CA20 powered.

It's a pretty easy swap, you're actually the third person that's asked about it in about 2 weeks. You need to bush one of the shifter rod holes and fit the bigger C series countershaft bearing then bolt the two halves back together. I had a 280ZX gearbox behind an RB20DET in the old R30 I used to have.

I'd be keen on the L series bell housing if you go that way
