Hi there,

Just wondering if there's anyone out there interested in a couple of datsun 1000's. one's an incomplete coupe 's' the other is a wagon both have been sitting for some time and I suspect will be in need of major work especially the coupe. Both in the Christchurch area.

is the coupe the one that has missing guards? do you know a man who is an architect and owns a white 1800 coupe ?

The wagon and most of the coupe interior and suspension etc are at hornby, the coupe shell is at kirwee. The coupe is missing one front guard and the engine if i remember correctly, they both have some rust. Give me a call to view 0226762709 we're after about a grand for the lot.

I don't know the architect with the 1800 coupe, sounds cool though.

architect with the 1800 coupe approached me one day knowing my afliction for all things datsun, he gave me some details for a man that had a datsun 1000 coupe, and it was missing a front guard, ummed and ahhed about it and decided at that time of my life I had enough on my plate, without taking on another project, soo never got in touch, sounds like the same car, be a cool little project.

Very tempted, 1000's are such cool wee cars. Would love to just bring one back to standard spec.
