WTB: 120y coupe (b210) rear spring plates

Need another set of rear spring plates for a 120y (the plate one each under the leaves that the ubolts bolt through and that the rear shock bolts to). Dont ask why haha.

Note sure if anything else will work? (1200 etc)

Cheers

May be coupe specific. 1200 sedans, and I think 120Y also have the shock mount on the axle only.

hmmm interesting, may make it difficult then.

I drilled out the holes for the ubolts to 12mm (were 10mm) to accommodate new ubolts for lowering blocks (could have got different ubolts but figured it was easy enough to drill out holes, which is was) but as the bolts are slightly bigger in diameter the distance between centres is actually slightly larger when they are in place so they are forced to pull together as you bolt them up and I didnt like what I was seeing/it was nearly impossible to do them up.

So will be getting longer 10mm bolts to use with the blocks (which I should have done in the first place.......) and dont like the idea of a 10mm bolt going though a 12mm hole (might just be paranoid but can see it slowly wearing the bolt out over time with little vibrations/movement)

I had to slog out my 10mm bolts to accomodate the new U bolts.
I was so lazy I couldnt be bothered going to work to use the drill press as it was friday night.
I swung on the end of my drill with a 10.5mm drill bit, while plate was in the vice to slog out the holes.
When I fitted the new U-bolts in place, they were pretty tight, but I swung the Assembly back in place,
and brought the U-bolts & plate away from the packer, and have it over the leafs, there is a bit more
room to get one end of U-bolt in at a time, needed to prize them in, and also a hit with the hammer,
then I had to smack the whole assembly back around to correct position before pulling up the bolts.

Good Luck
Kitch

Oh I know I could 'make' it work, but not too keen on the rear end being held together with over stressed u-bolts....... Theres usually a reason why you need to bring a hmmer into the equation if things arent going as planned haha.

No big deal, may have found some...fingers crossed.

If they're the same as 1200's, coupes, utes, and wagons should be the same. (Shocks at an angle, rather than straight up and down)
