After talking to quite a few people over the akaroa weekend, ive been asked to post some pics of our house. so here it is for those that asked.

built it brother, took 6 months of solid 6 day weeks, carrys 800 litres of fresh water, same with the waste, and a 250 litre toilet tank, has 4 slideouts in total, its 4.2 metres high, and 12.5 long x2.480 wide
everything runs on 12volt except the washer and dryer, which run off the 4 kva gennerator, its got 400 watt 24volt solar panels, charging through a digital controller which converts charge voltage to 14 volts,
truck is a hino fighter, was a curtain sider, and has a 16 litre v8 motor, with a 7 speed box.
cab has been cut and extended to seat 5 and, its got leather couches and a granit bench top, most people think we won lotto when they meet us, (be towing a 240z if that was the case lol)
its cheap living and great fun

Wow, I have no words other than that is one of the most awesome bits of custom kit I've seen. Did you do anything close to this when you had your shop?

not on the same scale but yeah, we built motorhomes from scratch.

Yep I've seen inside this beast. It's the Taj Mahal on wheels.
