Any one have a pinion flange from a broken r160 diff they want to part with

Rather than using the one out of the car and splitting a good r160LSD unit for the r200, im wondering if there is any spare ones of a standard diff that has maybe expired or something.

They are probably quite hard to get off.
When I did my r200 I just had my driveshaft redone to have the bigger uni to fit

Not a simple unbolt bolt up, you need to set it up just right, if you have never done one before would pay to have an expert take care of it:)

I would thing torquing to suit the recommmend play would have been the method.
Thought id get Steelie gears to give it a once over before I install it anyway, Cause the bloody thing is so big/heavy i dont want to have to take it out again in a hurry.

Plus i always had a bit of vibration over 140 under load i like to elimate (hopefully the CV system will help that)

You would of had to take it off to get it through the crossmember?
Mine has a round one like this

Yet this one has a square one

Brought these bits as a kit knowing might need a few extra bits to complete it (a few years ago now) Recond it was all running in a 1600.
All i can say I hope the 1600 he has now is better than whatever he put togther all these mismatched parts from.
I should of just started from scratch anyway.

Nope mine went through the crossmember just fine all complete.
Remember you only need the center out of the short nose diff, you don't need that front flange, you will be using the long nose one

Came with the round one which doesn't fit through the cross member unfortunately so someone must of swapped it

Bit buggered by the looks the smaller ones dont fit

So you just want an R200 square input flange? I've got one somewhere as I changed mine to a short nose one

I have one sitting on my bench doing nothing.

If DJZ doesn't sort you out I would be happy to swap it for your round one

Just dug mine out and it's actually round, the bolt pattern looks to be 45x55mm?
