My daughter has yet again struck difficulties with her phone. She has just purchased an iPhone 3 off a friend but it is locked(?I don't know?) Anyway she has been told she needs an AT&T sim card to get it unlocked.
Does anyone have a suitable sim card, maybe you have been overseas or imported a phone. Or any advise, sorry I don't have much knowledge about these sort of things, but any insight would be appreciated.

PS will swap favours with points and other old fashioned stuff if you can fix it.

Take it in to the Cool Zone in Riccarton Mall (upstairs by the Hoyts). Believe they do unlocking (for a fee...). Otherwise, I'm sure someone is familiar with rooting/jailbreaking iPhones... I'd help, but you'd have to post the phone

If it was Android, then I could unlock it for you, but I'm not familiar with iPhone hacking

i got AT & T sim and can also unlock it for u will do it if u pay courier both ways.
