went on a mission this afternoon to view this, AND THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL CAME OFF AT A HUNDY KS, lucky no one was hurt, so fucked off had to walk back to dudes house no cell coverage, late getting home wife mad as fuck.
grrr just goes to show ,can never be to carefull when checking other peoples
for sale crap.

did the nuts come off the wheel, or did the hub come off the stub axles? Were you checking it out with/for Simon? It it a shitheap, or is it a wee gem?

nuts came off, wrong nuts for studs, wheels nut quite right stud pattern for hubs ,old studs have rooted threads drove on caliper for a bit before it stoped, now needs new disc etc.
fucking nightmare, didnt realise any of this before taking for test drive, could have ended badly, and with no cell coverage dont know what would of happend if someone injured.
have come to realise just how much faith you put in the person selling a car.
Nice little lesson and lucky to be able to pass it on.
yeah was checking it out for simon, hes bidding on it now, but probably not worth much more than reserve, between us we have enough parts to sort it , but hes looking at a medium term project.

fuck theres some rough barsteds out there, if they cant fit a wheel that sets off alarm bells. shud be heaps cheaper now u wud think, minus a wheel
