Hi all, I had Greg round this week and did some stuff on his car, I felt guilty and a little jealous that his car is driving, so today I made some mounts for the fuel tank, I needed to modify the original ones as the new pump fouled on the back seat support. I have been putting this off because there was a bit of work making the bracket, but turns out I was over thinking things, I came up with a simple plan today and, yah it's now sorted. So fuel lines are in and just need flexible rubber line to join it all together. It's actually stupidly close to being able to make it run.

Great to see some progress Wal. Get it sorted and get some enjoyment out of cruising in your own Datsun.

OMG, I got off my ass this week and got my bonnet in final primer, ready for paint etc. But the big news is that I got all the fuel system sorted and working, so for the first time in 16odd years there is fuel in the tank, and pressure in the fuel rail. I had a small weep coming from one weld so stripped it all down and re-welded it only to turn it into a big leak lol, it's stripped down again and hope to have it all sorted by next weekend. I need to sort the oil feed on the turbo this week and get a o2 sensor for the exhaust, make the exhaust and drill and tap the head for the temp sensor, and then I can try starting it. Getting close now.

I thought you were going to say "...I had a small weep coming from one of my eyes..." haha.

Next time I'm in town, we look forward to seeing this running and driving ;) Keep up the good work! :D
