isnt it due to that thread/post from a while back stating minimum tyre width to rim width ratio?

so anything even slightly stretched wouldnt pass cert.? but there is an extremely good chance im wrong about this.........

Yes this is why he wants these tyres, he has others for running normally.

Don't get why 195/45/15's can be used up to a 7.5'' rim but 195/50/15's can only be used up to 7''s????

use this website http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; some sizes are dif to the chart they "LTSA" have which is Bullshit as all tyres are nominal sizing from each manufacturer - ie dunlop may measure there width from the outside face to outside face on a fully inflated tyre, where as bridgestone may do the same but measure the tread edge to tread edge making their tyres physically wider.

The chart doesnt also have some quite common sizes too.

An example was the GX61 Chris CUL8R and i had - 4 different makes of tyre on the same size rims and they all had different amounts of "stretch" - almost eager look to full stretch.

It should be based on how your tyres look on the rim (im all for the tyre looking proper on he wheel anyway) but they have gone a bit silly lately on it. End of rant

Just put some falcon 17's on with 235/45r17 - maybe ring mag and turbs - im sure kane and chris could sort you out.
