put your size 10 boot on the strut assembly and undo the top hat nut with a long handled socket wrench, and just shoot it off! (dont aim at your vehicles at the time though!)
You should not need compressors to install the avenger springs either, as you should get your shock shortening & spring cutting sorted so that there is only a couple of mm of preload on the springs when you assemble the shocks.

i only ask as bart said i need to do a mock up to see how much of the spring to cut etc etc when the car is on all 4s to see ride hieght etc.
or is this not nessesary? front end is already out im just waiting on the mock up to finalise how many mm to slice and dice before getting bellamy and east to reshape the top and the likes

This trick is awesome for putting holes in either garage roofs or walls (seen aftermath) also breaking windows and putting dents in panels lol
