yeah you can compress them but i find compressed springs seem to start losing their tension - i recommend looking for super low springs or custom springs

bellemy and east (spelling) in falsgrave st can compress your springs for you. No idea what that costs though. Then you just need to have your shocks shortened. You could shorten your shocks and just cut your springs. If you have fewer coils, the spring will be stiffer. More coils, means a softer ride. I Have compressed coils in my shitfiro, and with a carload of people, the rear sags to fuck, and rides awful.

yea im just not to keen on cutting my cobra springs cuz they cost me a good 350 bux i do have a set of standard ones around but the cobras are alot thicker than the standard ones , do ya just need to shorten the rear shocks? or all of em? what would it cost for shortend ones,

if your shocks are in good condition, you just pay someone to shorten them. Short shocks reduces the amount of droop travel, and keeps the spring captive. I'm sure someone else will suggest a place that can do it.
