Ld28 won't go

Post by Evil13 »

Did a manual conversion and timing belt and now it won't go I put belt on B mark of pump and then fitted to the crank where the mark is leaving 20 teeth between the points on the belt. I just read that it shouldn't be 20 unused teeth it starts and finishs on the marks of the pullys
Can anyone help?

did you compare the belts before fitting? if you are 1 or 2 teeth out most diesels will struggle to run if at all. did it run before you did the manual conversion and after changing the belt?
