MAD DAT ordering

Post by braasmonkey »

Howdy all,

I have put this up on the Facebook page, but thought I ought to do so here too. I am looking at purchasing a sway bar, short shifter and strut bar/brace for my 1200 from Mad Dat in Adelaide, Australia (to be shipped to Christchurch, NZ). If anyone is keen on any of the above (possibly any other parts), message me as we may be able to spread the freight cost (part prices are available via http://www.maddat.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Cheers!

- Braasy

Yes could be keen,
Will just have to follow up on some measurements I have been supplied by Ging.
Will let you know over the next few days.

Just a little worried regarding Tax if we get stung

Care to share said measurements? No doubt 510/610 sway bars are similar and would be good to know for future reference.

I just had a look at the Maddat website, and my sway bar does not look like the one on their website. I purchased it from a member here as a "MadDat" sway bar, but can only assume they have changed their design or something.

EDIT:
So looking through their catalogue, my 510 MadDat sway bar is in fact the one they sell for a Stanza.. Feck! I need to go get another sway bar link and test out the fitting.
My orangatang 510 here.

This is the measurements I got from Maddat themselves Ging and Greg.

The inside length across the front is 500mm, from the front to the D saddles is 200mm and the length of where the D saddles is 130mm. The D saddles mount into the standard position.
