Im pretty biased to 1200's but by looking at substantial evidence over the years the 510 is far more superior.

Superior for....

Handling
Original Suspension Designs
Looks
Models - ie GL and SSS
Aftermarket parts - US boys and girls love to make stuff
Ease of making even better - ie R200 CV conversions / SR Swaps / Suspension Conversions - Datsport / MADDAT.

Just a few but id keep your 1600 and sell the 1200 ;) ;) ;) (if thats what your thinking

1600. Especially if you're a more generously proportioned individual + all those things Brocky said.

1600 probably unless you have a 1200SSS, although prices of all old school Jap cars have been steadily rising for a few years now.

I hate to say it, but the 510 is probably more desirable.
Although on a racetrack, the 1200 is lighter.

Fair comments, I find the sixteen hundy fairly box like but somehow it works.
At present I have one of each but, one has to sell.....if I sell the 1200
It will fund the 1600 but if I sell the sixteen it will be hard to replace I am guessing.?

You know you could make your 510 a lot lighter by taking all those boxes off it Bart
