Any one been happy with any sand/media blasting in chch?I got the underside of my car done at euroblast, they did a good job (except for one wee issue)but their gear is pretty industrial and vicious.I need my engine bay done but im not 100% keen to take it back,i'd rather go somewhere that specialised in cars... any thorts?

In oz I think most ppl use beadblasters these days rather than sand as it's alot more panel friendly.
Not sure if this is common or available locally for you guys, but can't see why not.

Yeah american muscle cars or american classics or what ever they are called are good, I had a work mate get his escort done there. Did an awesome job but they were easily twice as expensive as euroblast (he got his shell blasted as is with paint and everything on, no stripping) because they use a low pressure system it take them a bit longer than euro blast
Also theres

they do soda blasting and because its a biodegradable blasting medium they can do it at your place if you don't mind the horrendous mess it makes, it washes away with water though. Real gentle on the car and the guys pretty laid back, does cheap prices for cash too. was going to do my car (when it was all stripped) for about $250 cash

wal knows a guy named phil who doesn't go too hard and might be cheaper that euroblast. soda blasting is the best, but it cost more unfortunatley.

The soda blasting guy gave me a price cheaper than euro blast. But mine was paint stripped already. I guess if you wanted to do it from paint it would cost more as the soda would be a slower process.
