Hey cool cats, still haven't gotten any measurements form under the hoods of any 1200's, and i was wondering if there are any 1200 owners here in Tauranga, that would be gracious enough to let me come take some measurements for an engine I'm building.
Cheers,
Adam

Hi,

What measurements do you need? I can measure my engine bay if you want?

I need from about 1/2 way along the block, and about 1/2 way up the block, out to the strut tower on the right hand side of the engine please.
Cheers

Not sure if it was your right or my right you wanted, so here are some rough measurements to get you started:
Strut tower to strut tower 660mm
Manifold side of block to Strut tower 270mm
Cam side of block to Strut tower 200mm
These are approximates, a bit more info and I could get more exact for you.
All the best.

Awesome thanks so much! Its very difficult trying to build an engine when you don't have a car to check that it fits into. You guys wouldnt happen to know anyone selling a 1200 sedan would you?
Cheers,
Adam
