Side Sukas For A15?

G'day guys
I know nothing about carbs really and thought i'd ask you guys what would best SUIT an a15? its for rally so it has to go hard ae..
not lookin to buy yet....but its good to get an idea on what size and brand to look out for right? :mrgreen:

just from what ive read and understand, you really need to look at the engine as a whole. no point in fitting large expensive carbs to an otherwise stock engine. you wont realy make the most of them. likewise, small carbs would run outta puff on a hard built engine.

personally, i would look at what kinda ignition, cam and exhaust system you want to run as well as the carbs. the best thing you could do is get parts that work best together with the correct bits

i was going to fit extractors 2 1/2 inch exhaust a12 flywheel and lumpy as fuck cam :mrgreen: for a start lol

hey so whats the diff between webber and delorto? is one better than the other?

Webers and Dellortos are very similar, they just do things in a different way, 40's will cover all but the extreme engine build, and I prefer Dellorto's just because that's what was fitted to the SSS's, so when in Rome, do what the Romans do, and fit Dellortos :D

someone once told me that weber's are a race carb, and dellorto's are a street carb. I say he was full of shit. I read that dellortos stay in tune better than webers.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............
