You need to run the entire 330 column etc aswell as the 330 power steer draglink.

Even easier if you use the complete front crossmember and arms etc aswell.

My wagon has the 330 column and steering box fitted with no mods

Ask warrick nicely?
If you need to cut any parts out of that 330 shell, it's still at Karls.
Do you have any pictures?

I have also just picked up a 330 power box that i want to try to fit to our h230 wagon.
Make sure you take a few photos.
I want to keep the column change so im not sure if it will 100% fit.

i suppose ill have to keep a lookout for a 330 to scrounge the column out of

Hi fletch Im finishing my power steering conversion,My advise to you..Don't do it.To make the steering box you will need to cut a little of the inner guard (not really a big deal) as the steering box fowls the inner guard .The steering column needed to be cut and moved up.The steering shaft needed to cut and shorted as the power steering box sits higher then the non power steering box as well as changing output shaft joint as the power steering type is bigger than the non power steering. Also you'll need the change out your pulley's/belts to suit the power steering pump.If you have the right tools and a welder and the know how you should be fine.Lucky for me i have.

cheers for the info Ivan.

This is kind of on the back burner for me as i have just moved to new plymouth, got a job, buying a house, have no shed yet, blah blah blah. But it WILL happen!
Maybe nearer the end of the year. I also have found a column change 5 speed that i want swap for the 3 speed i have so that will be affected by the power box too.
In the mean time ill be hunting down a 330 that i can scab all the bits off.

How much of a difference does the steering make?
