Bought this 1974 1200 from Wellington about 2 weeks ago. Just Been driving it around as stock for the time being. Planning to treat him to a new paint job soon, and drop a Supercharged A15 in.

Bought some new 13 inch Minilite mags. 7inch wide for the front, and 8inch wide for the rear.

Hate to spoil your enthusiasm but those wheels are too big for the 1200 sedan without some very serious rear guard pruning and flaring, made even worse if you lower it.
Thats the wheel size that one would expect to see on a ShellSport race car.
13x6 with a 175x60x13 ( 185 at a pinch with liberal use of a hammer on the rear arches ) is really it.
Cheers
Dave

I was aware that I was going to have to flare the guards, thats not an issue tho.

The rears might rub on the inside to mate, they have a step inside the lip that causes the tyre to rub

Glad you finally found a car Adam.
When you test fir your blower engine in the hole you'll see what I meant about the header collector and the idler arm on the passengers side chassis rail.
Looks like a nice car. I'm looking forward to the updates on this build thread.

The firewall slants back on a 45 angle, so I was thinking I could avoid the idler arm by just having the pipes come really close to the firewall, shifting around the transmission. and having the collector further down the pipes a bit.
