if u have no luck paint them, i used 'dupli-color' vinyl & fabric paint, ive used it on door trims and it comes up mint!! says its for seats dash boards etc so it must be hard wearing..

make sure you use plenty of prepsol/wax off if you're going to paint them. Vynal seats are very likely to have been armour all'd at some stage, and paint wont want to stick to that!
