So I'm well out of touch with market values of stuff. I gave up trademe since it just led to me spending money I didn't have, on stuff I didn't need.
So which is worth more. or even what is each kind worth?
1200 coupe grill (Plastic, with the round grill center badge, verses the standard stainless steel sedan grill and surrounds with round grill badge.
Discuss!

coupe grills usually sell for $50 odd, +/- $20 including badge. Last 2 sedan grills i've sold have gone for around the $60 mark but needed a full polish but were in good condition under the filth, maybe up to 85-90 for mint. Surrounds go for around the $50 mark up to maybe 70-80 for mint ones. These are just what i've sold them for over the last year or 2

the fact that you can buy new coupe/ute grills says a bit, in my opinion they are worth more based on replacement value alone

The inverse of that is probably more true due to supply of NOS sedan grills being much less than modern coupe/ute copies, and the fact that they're not made of plastic. I personally traded a brand new plastic coupe grill for a sedan grill in average condition as the polish up real good and can look real nice (mmm, stainless steel) :)

I reackon a good condition stainless one will become more valuable as supplies dry up, with plastic ones still available new the hard to come by stuff increases in value
