Been out tonight, and managed to work a deal. We are welcome to hire out the Canterbury Brewery FOC (Free of charge). If at some stage required. Worth something???? who knows.

Do mean the brewery on St Asph St? Or some other small time brewery? Do they have a cash bar?
This could indeed be useful in the future for a fund raising event of some kind. The only idea I have would be a dirty girls night, or some such. (not that I'm obsessed with that, but that's what lots of footy clubs, and hot rod clubs do)

Yes the Canterbury brewery. Went there last night in the staff bar, and they don't have any till at all. How wicked is that??? As for a venue they have a function room that would suit about 30-40 people.
