Well that's handy to know so would an RB flywheel fit an L28? I will check that out tomorrow

Do they bolt straight on? no mods at all? will the stock starter work? and are they all the same RB20,25,30 etc or is there a certain one to use?

Bolt straight on, you may or may not have to shim the ID where it locates on the crank, I never did though, I used a 240mm RB30 one on my old 3.1.

RB's have the same clutch sizes, 225mm & 240mm, most people refer to them as 6 bolt and 9 bolt flywheels, that's the number of pressure plate bolts. Most 2 litre non turbos will have a 225mm clutch, almost everything else should have a 240mm but best to double check before buying one.

Almost forgot, there's a very good chance you'll need a shorter release bearing carrier as the 240mm clutches are usually taller.

It came off the RB30 gearbox, if you can get the one that matches the flywheel you should be sweet.

Also check the ring gear diameter my Stagea RB25det has a starter motor with a reduction drive. It is not compatible with non turbo starters

Oh and stay away from anything with a pull clutch.
