The latest addition to my (small) Datsun empire

1983 C20 Super Wagon! 4 speed column shift, a15.

Has a fold up back seat so is a legit 6 seater. Has a sweet sunroof too.

Plans are summer cruiser so already half way through building a multipiece bed for the back, which will be easy to remove/stack up so can still carry humans and bikes etc. Will also keep an eye out for some cheap jap wheels to spruce it up a bit.

Hit up Simon (woodies72coupe) for a 5 speed, he had one a few months ago.
Looking good man. Watch your head on the sun roof, had one of these for work and mate cracked his head on the front of the sunroof when we crossed the gutter heading up the drive one night.
Great vans great memories.

I owned one of these back when I took a four year break from drinking. So I was always sober D. Took my mates out in it every weekend. Used to roll 13 up.
The day after I sold it, the mrs and I were at some sale at the racecourse. The checkout girl recognised me. (She was a friend of a friend, who I didn't recognise) She said, Do you still have your van?
I told her I'd just sold it.
The mrs leaped to the worst conclusion. And was unimpressed face.jpeg.

I've had 4 of these in a row and are handy. All mine went on Datsun cruises to Taupo. Watch for rust behind the headlights and the floor under the mat by the back door. Nearly always repaired as they all seem to leak. I tried to put a C22 5 speed in my last one but the box was way too long. So it would have to done with modification. NZ C20s didn't come with 5 speeds sadly. Nice C20 though, you beat me to this one !
