NZ Datsun Grasskhana 17th May 2015
Posted: Fri Dec 12, 2014 9:06 pm
The next Grasskhana is planned for Sunday the 17th of May.
Meet The Peg (Belfast Tavern, Main North Road) at 9:00am
From here we'll be heading to a location at West Eyreton (near Oxford) it's around 35-40 mins drive, so be sure to have enough fuel. Directions to the location will be given on the day. (If you expect to miss the meet up, and need directions, PM Bart for the details).
The format for the day will be as follows:
We will be running "the cloverleaf" and then "ever decreasing circles", depending on numbers on the day, we'll cycle through at least three timed runs each on each of the two circuits.
Then we'll break for lunch, the NZ Datsun Club will be having a sausage sizzle, some soft drinks will be available so be sure to bring some money. There are no shops anywhere close by.
After lunch, we're going to run the courses in reverse. "Inverse clover leaf", and "ever increasing circles".
After everyone has completed at least three timed runs of each circuit, (again depending on numbers on the day) we'll set up a slalom course around the periphery of the field where the grasskhana is being held.
Cost is $5 per driver for NZ Datsun Club financial members, and $10 per driver for non members.
