Matt's 120Y coupe

Having always had a soft spot for the 120y coupe as I had one for my first car 20yrs ago, I have always wanted to get another again. Late last year I was browsing Trade Me and found this one locally and knowing these don't come up very often grabbed it.
Between the previous 2 owners it has gone from standard to far from standard but a very fun car to drive.
Work done on the car includes rust removed and resprayed in 2012 with steel flared arches added to cover the 215/50 R13 minilites
Engine wise a recond A14 with raised compression and a mild cam was dropped into it , Holly carb, Webber extractors and electric fuel pump were also added.
Driveline it has a dog leg 5 speed recond in 2013 and a H150 diff
Suspension has seen it lowered with Nismo adjusties up front, 120lb springs, adjustable camber plates, nolethane bushes and new rod ends ball joints and steering components
Brakes have been up graded with a Sunny vacuum booster and rebuilt 1600 front callipers and disks
Interior has had sound deadening and new carpets installed
Currently I am in the process off getting the windows tinted which will help keep it cooler inside but also look cooler especially against the gun metal grey paint.
Plans for the car over the next year will hopefully see electronic ignition fitted, vacuum advance on the distributor repaired, some spot lights fitted to the holes in grill and some general tiding up.
Unfortunately while taking the windows out to get tinted the drivers door window winder packed up so trying to find a replacement for that right now.
