Hey im looking at selling my l28e and 5 speed out of my 1981 280zx, what would it be worth? car says 130,000ks but cant guarantee they are right. F54 block and n42 head with dish pistons from what i can see. its still in my car and runs nice once warm, theres a cold running issue with electrics, compression test is around 135psi in all cylinders when cold.

I will be keen on the gearbox if you wana sell it separately.

And I would be keen on the motor.

Last complete L28 I sold I got $500 for, with loom and computer, a decent gearbox is probably worth $150, maybe a little more?

ok awsome, im not sure what they are worth, the car just needs to go in for reregistration then the engine is coming out for an ls1 so i cant sell it yet, just seeing if theres enough interest to cover remaining costs of the ls swap. The engine will come with a heavenly sounding legal exhaust aswell
