Had Justin's Sunny at Pukekohe last weekend. Goes pretty good, but only getting to 170k on the back straight at 6000 in 4th! so luckily have found a guy with 3 vanettes sitting in a field. Most of the bodies are poked but there's the glass and some fittings, oh and a couple of diffs...

Hi Bartman, am taking the car to Hampton Downs in two weeks so will rectify with photos and hopefully some lap times. This is my first love but the Datsun is really growing on me the more I drive it. Cheers.

P.S. Any tips for getting an alloy casing off the axle housing without stuffing it? Seems to be stuck with jointing compound. Thanks.

I have an old recipro saw blade sharpened into like a chisel. And I drive that between the two faces.

Ahh I love 635s, they're the best of the BMWs.
