Wicked! That is seriuosly cool.

I really enjoyed the number of old cars (a lot of toyotas) when I visited a couple of years back.

yeah that is cool, how did you go about getting the engine etc? are they available over there, or did you have to import it in.

Sweet ute! Would love to see some engine bay pics? How well does it run?! Almost finished doing this conversion in my 1200 sedan

Thanks guys!

@ beaver - Im glad you liked our old cars :) more are getting restored now as people have realized the importance of them

@ 2 doors - I bought a halfcut from Nisbits in Auckland

@ Garth - I have attached some pics of the engine bay. Its run pretty well. Everything is stock apart from the front mount and exhaust. Im only running 8 psi as its a daily. I did turn up the boost to about 14 with avgas and it was a lot of fun :) Good luck with your conversion. I can assure you the raw power will put a smile on your face every time :)

Looks awesome man! Yeah my one is stock motor as well with just exhaust and front mount. eventually will put a bigger turbo on and a few other mods. might run mine on around 12psi just to keep the smile on my face haha

You must have lowered the car over the motor to get it in there without cutting the front panel? They're a very tight fit in there.........
