If anyone can find me front guards I need them asap...I'll get photos up tonight which will reveal all. If you've got my facebook take a look there. Was meant to be a straight forward paint job until painters stripped back the car... Rust proofed my ass. The rust is everywhere but guards are the worst and the previous owner did a good job at hiding it all... So if anyone knows of any let me know!! My cars currently in Ashburton and the painters are waiting

I've got someone to fix them but they're so far gone I was hoping to get some better condition ones to make it a bit cheaper lol

Every J series 4dr Ive seen rust has rusted CHRONICALLY!
Ill keep an ear out for you, but They dont come up often. Tried user unlimitedpower?

Gutted for ya Lucinda. I really recomend Wal(2 doors) He is the datsun rust master and he paints too.
Otherswise good luck in finding some guards.

pisses me off when people sell you stuff and miss represent what they are selling, if you are coming up labour weekend, and have room for them ,I can advise on wether it would be worth fixing etc.

Yeah I couldn't believe it after all the shit the guy I bought it off did to me this one tops it. "absolutely rust free, the entire car has been rust proofed" Blah blah blah lol.

Thanks, I'm still coming on cruise (I hope) but the J will still be in Ashburton. The guy workin on it is working from the back of the car forwards hoping that I can find front guards by the time he reaches them. He said he can fix them but there's seriously a grands worth of work just on those guards haha.

It was meant to be ready this Sunday but the Rust has put it back a week and the painter is going away for a week right when it'll be ready to paint Which means it's ready exactly a week late for the cruise
