60a bell housing

The main input bearing in mine stuffed out, causing the bearing race to spin in the alloy housing.
When the new bearing goes in, it has about 2mm of play.
Engineer said he can tig it up and machine it down but that is $400 or so

loctite do a bearing retainer for gaps that large

Is the 60A housing a A series engine or a L series engine?
If its a L series 5 speed i'll grab old housing off you,

Can you post a photo of what part you need? I might be able to help shortly when my 5 speed returns from its rebuild down south. 2 boxes to make 1.

Thank for your help guys, have managed to trade some datsun parts to an engineer from wellington who is going to repair it for me. He was pleased to see parts arrive for is 1200 coupe project
