Hey guys, after looking further into it, I will have to adapt my gear box cross member to fit it into by 120y.

Any suggestions or help? I have browsed the forum and have seen people attempt this but then not show final result.
It doesnt seem far out, could slot the holes.

Also I hear the reverse switch hits the tunnel? Asking for some experience here, this may only be for the 1200's.

Another thing, my 5 speed never came with a clutch fork, can i use the 4 speed one or do i need to find the 5 speed?

Am very keen to get this in soon as am heading to taupo for labour weekend meet up and want to be revving less!

Kitch and Beaver both did 5spd conversions on their 120Y's would be best to either one of them for more info unless they post on here too. As for the clutch fork I'll leave that one to the A series experts :D

I've never played with b210s before, but as far as I know it's only 1200s that have the issue with the reverse switch hitting the tunnel.

The fork levers are different, they have different lever arms. However I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable, but you may need to get a shorter or longer clutch cable depending on which fork you use.

As for the gearbox crossmember you can possibly get away with slotting the holes or welding them up and drilling new ones.

Would you prefer a 5speed crossmember?

5 speeds have a different fork which is bent forward, and I wouldnt even bother using the straight 4 speed fork, I learnt that the hard way. With a 4 speed fork you wont get any clutch actuation. I had to use spacers on the pivot to give a half pedal clutch.

As per my FB messgae, my car was an auto to start with so mounting holes on the body are in a different place to the manual bodys. I made my own x-member. I had no issue swith reverse sensor.

On a side not, when I chucked a 4speed in (before I did the 5speed) I made up litle adaptor plates that bolted to the floor holes, then bolted to the factory 4speed crossmemeber. May be an option for you.
