So ive finally decided I need to bite the bullet and go aftermarket ecu for my A15 efi build.

ANy contacts for a trigger wheel and sensor to suit a15, and wondering which ecu you guys recommend- MS or Link? I'm on a tight budget and just need the injectors to be controlled, all though I'm tempted to consider sequential firing also??

trigger wheel and sensor?
ecu?

Adapt an SR20 CAS to fit? That's a pretty common mod with other motors. I'm a big fan of Links, the Atom is pretty reasonably priced.

Maybe ask Kitch what he did?

I use an MSII with V3 daughterboard. BIP on board coil drivers, firing an MSD wasted spark coil unit.
Trigger wheel is a modified EDIS 1/36 tooth wheel modified to fit to crank pulley.

Cheapest way would be an MS1 if you want to drive fuel only.
basic 8x8 tables as I understand, and limited add-ons, but will certainly
handle fuel only easy enough in an old pushrod motor.
couple that to an edis trigger wheel and VR sensor off ebay for rpm feed,
you will need a TPS signal too

For my setup, in hindsight I should have gone Link Atom, or Haltech.

Where do you setup a the missing tooth for that kind of setup? 60 degrees before TDC?

I'm not up and running yet but am building my setup with ms2 and using a pertronix setup in the dizzy to provide signal to the ecu

why would you have gone link atom kitch?

I would like a unit to also do spark as I am contemplating the EDIS system now also, although because of the budget will quite possibly stick with the fuel side of things unless I could find the EDIS gear for under $100.00

I have the TPS on the throttle body of the 4G15 I'm using, that should work right?

Any pictures or explanation of how you modified the 36-1 trigger wheel?

Jeremiah what is the pertronix setup? I have the CAS/TDC out of a 4g15 but put it in the to hard basket for fitting into the dizzy.

Here's basic pertronix info

Here's some info on integrating with a megasquirt

As I said, I'm not running yet so take with a grain of salt.

Btw do you have a red Morris ute?

local tuners etc didnt really want to know about Megasquirt.
Also I lost a lot of time & unforeseen costs sending MS away to be checked & reconfigured.
Then when finally got working, turned out I had a dud onboard MAP sensor.

I spent too much time on internet and trying to figure it all out.

Should have just taken car into tuning shop and got them to do the lot.

MS was cheap initial outlay, then I overly complicated things with trying to use all features, then ended up just tuning on tacho signal, temp sensor & TPS....

And yes think they do run a 60° step on timing, but thats all tied into timing offset and where you mechanicall fix the trigger wheel (mine was adjustable)
