Hi guys I'm trying to fit 15x8 with 0 offset on my 1600 with 195/50/15 and the guards are sitting on the tyres.looks like I need to pull the guards out a inch or so.ive seen other 1600 with 15x8 on them and there guards look stock.whats people doing to there guards to make them fit or are they doing something to the suspension or subframe.dont want to go messing with the guards if I don't hav to.
Thanks
James

Run a bit less offset?
The older I get, the less I like guards that have been butchered/pumped.

Careful, with a positive offset on a wide wheel you'll find that the wheel gets quite close to the control arm.
I don't think you'll get any definite answers as most people end up lipping the guards and fitting 14x7 or wider wheels with a negative offset. Your best bet is to just see if you can borrow a wheel to test fit.
Any pics of the car in question?

Hi I'll try and put up a photo of the wheels I was trying to fit.the guard is sitting on the tyre in the photo and looks like the guard needs rolled an inch or so.may just sell the wheel as don't want to stuff with the guards as they r new rear quarters and took a lot of work to put them on with out me going and stuffing them by rolling them
