Wanting to borrow: Right Angle Drill

Does anyone in the chch area have a right angle drill I could borrow?? Air powered or battery/240v just need something to screw two screws right up on the side of my gearbox tunnel on the underside of the car. Really don't want to take the gearbox out!

Can you do what I did. I drilled holes through from interior side, inserted an M4 bolt through put a nut on the trans tunnel side to lock it in place and left enough thread to attach a bracket and then locked that with a nylock. Basically creating a stud to bolt the bracket to.

Hmmmm maybe.... it's just trying to find where to drill on the inside without drilling through the hardline!

i think you can buy an adapter to make a cordless drill or whatever into an angle drill
from memory M10 and bunnings have them for like $40

How far from your Gear shift hole or other reference point, bit of measuring and luck and you should be right.
Another way I have done it to mark where it goes is use a right angle bar to lever a mark into the tunnel, that could then be centre punched from inside the car.... Follow Wal's suggestion,

It's closer to the bell housing than shifter... I may have found one to borrow so I stay tuned
