Hey Guys, just a quick question. Is the left-hand drive allowed by law in NZ? How about in Australia?

Yes, in NZ. I assume yes in OZ.

In NZ, an LHD needs to be either over 20 years old, or built in not too large a number. (ie special cars like a dodge Hellcat, or other special cars)
