what engine fits easily into vanette C22, 15A repower any ideas.

Another A series?
You could probably fit another family of engine if you have the skills/are keen enough.

I nabbed my A15 out of a c22 vanette so any A series. Also I read on Wikipedia they came out with Nissan Z series, which is the more modern L series. Or also available with diesel L series (LD20), so an L series mod wouldn't be too hard.

If you go for a taller engine you may need the front seat from a diesel van if it is the standard narrow short body C22 as the normal front passenger seat/engine cover for the A series may not clear it.
